Department Of Homeland Security Steps Up Enforcement Against Employers

Back in April, the Department of Homeland Security issued a press release announcing a change in enforcement policy regarding  the employment of illegal immigrants.

DHS will now focus its efforts identifying  and prosecuting employers.

If you are not in compliance, you could be facing stiff fines and penalties, and criminal charges. The question for employers is – are your I-9’s ready or an audit?    If not yet compliant - you really don’t want to wait!
